side of the road as possible and brakes to the halt. But a crash is in unavoidable
and the earlier car plows into the latter at the offset heat an angle. Not what
u might call totally uncommon scenario. The crash took place between a stationary
Scoda Superb Combi and a Scoda Yeti which was moving at 90km/h under its own
engine power.
Both the car has two adult sized crashed tests
dummies in the back as well. Following the crash, official form the local free
department did a quick inspection of the crash area, ensure that it was safe to
technician to approach after which specialist from Scoda Traffic Safety Research
team began to collect data for the various sensor attached to the car and the
crash test dummies. The team also made a 3D scan of the accident site which
would later be fed into crash simulation software.
While Scoda
engineer analyzed the data from the crash, the media representative were taking
through various workshop with expert from different field of automotive safety.
The workshop includes one which explained the various tools and methodology us
by member of the Traffic Research Safety team to collect data from real life
crash sides while another focused on both the Active and Passive safety
features which come build into Scoda’s car.
There was also a workshop which spoke about

Scoda playful a website design to inculcated road and traffic sense in
children. One of the most enjoyable activities though was the Test Drive workshop
where the journalist could drive a few Scoda cars around the test course and
put the car’s various electronic safety programmers to the test.
I've always been fascinated with the safety features of an automotive vehicle ever since I started working for Ejot.co.uk, developing automotive fasteners. With my engineering background, I love to figure out how things work and how to improve them, and fasteners are just as important as the structure in my opinion. They are what keep everything together at the end of the day.
